I have always had an interest in programming, websites, and the challenge of researching and learning new technology. In 2006, I created a storefront for my family-owned online retail business, melttheheart.com. Since then, our business has grown to hundreds of products, including physical & downloadable products, and ships worldwide. I also enjoy developing databases using Microsoft Access, and have worked with area businesses as an Access programmer.

I live in the country a few miles north of Fairbury, IL, with my husband, Nate, and four children (3 of which are boys). We love the wide open skies, fresh honest air, and small-town living. Dirt, sand, and the occasional leech find their way into my house… (did I mention I have 3 boys?) Along with keeping up with my daughter’s schedule + hosting sleepovers and cookouts, it’s a busy place out here and we love it!

To put it simply, my faith is the foundation of every part of my life. Honesty, integrity, continuous learning + improvement guide my personal and business decisions. I could speak volumes about the subject of faith (just ask my kids!) but here I’ll simply quote a familiar hymn: “I once was lost, but now am found…” … and I have experienced that the saving grace of God is truly Amazing.
